Head of Business Development

Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of Business Development to drive growth and expansion opportunities for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through innovative initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop Business Growth Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.

2. Identify New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential business opportunities. Develop targeted strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive business growth.

3. Build Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances with key industry players, technology partners, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and create value for the company.

4. Lead Sales and Marketing Initiatives: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to generate leads and drive revenue growth.

5. Negotiate Contracts and Agreements: Negotiate business agreements, contracts, and partnership agreements with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term business success.

6. Track and Analyze Performance: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, sales data, and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and identify areas for improvement.

7. Provide Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related field, with a proven track record of driving business growth and generating revenue.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop targeted strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Experience in the Software or Manufacturing or Health Care or Semiconductor more industries  is preferred.
