Overview:

The Head of Operations -Pan India is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational activities across all regions of India. This senior role involves strategic planning, resource management, process optimization, and ensuring operational excellence to support the company’s goals and objectives. The Head of Operations will lead a team of regional managers and work closely with other senior leaders to drive efficiency and productivity.

 Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Create and oversee the execution of operational plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all regions.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations.

2. Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all regions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional managers and operational staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to drive professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the operations team.

4. Resource Management:

  • Optimize the use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Implement strategies for effective supply chain management and logistics.

5. Process Optimization:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive innovation and automation in operational processes.

6. Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Ensure high standards of quality and consistency in all operational activities.
  • Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges promptly.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other senior leaders to ensure alignment of operational activities with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with all stakeholders.
  • Represent the operations function in senior leadership meetings and provide updates on key metrics and initiatives.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in operations management, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing operations on a large scale, preferably across multiple regions or a national level.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and operational performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP and other operational management software.

 Reporting:

The Head of Operations  Pan India will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

 Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Based in Bangalore India with frequent travel required to various regions across India.
  • Office environment with regular working hours, flexibility required for extended hours and travel.
